Recap: Legal Diversity Career Fair
On October 23, 2024, students and lawyers joined us at the Western New York Legal Diversity Career Fair, which was held on the University at Buffalo’s North Campus. The fair was meant to help foster a more diverse and inclusive legal workforce, as it aimed to expand employment opportunities for those traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession.
We were pleased to feature attorney panelists from various backgrounds. Students receive tailored guidance on interviewing techniques and insights into employer expectations; they also had a chance to network with potential employers and our MBAWNY members. It was a productive day of networking, education and food — and there were even prizes such as $1,500 towards Bar Exam preparation, as well as AirPods and iPads.
