Jesutowo Adeniji

Jesutowo Adeniji is the Erie County Commissioner of Labor Relations. He is the County’s Chief Negotiator for Collective Bargaining Agreements and other union-related matters. He also oversees the administration of grievances.

Diversified Legal Expertise

Licensed to practice law in New York and Nigeria, Adeniji brings diversified legal expertise to his role. While practicing in Nigeria, he specialized in commercial litigation.

Adeniji is deeply committed to public service and advancing access to justice. He began his legal career as a Criminal Defense Attorney with the Buffalo Legal Aid Bureau, representing thousands of indigent clients. Today, he continues to serve the organization as a member of its Board of Directors.

Service to Western New York

Adeniji is a former director on the Board of the Minority Bar Association of Western New York. He also volunteers with the Erie County Volunteer Lawyers Project, providing pro bono representation to indigent asylum clients.
